Roller Hockey

Canadian Roller Hockey Group (CRHG) & Halton Roller Hockey (HRH)

  • Roller Hockey is an incredible way to improve your skill and offensive abilities during the off-season.

  • The sport is non-contact (for all ages), played at 4on4, and has no icings or offsides - it is all about puck possession and puck management - 2 very important skills in ice hockey for skill & hockey IQ.

  • Many NHL'ers have played roller hockey over the years: some play in a league/Pro tournaments like Connor Bedard & Pat Maroon, while others like Connor McDavid talk about how often they would wheel around in their driveway to practice their skating and puck skills.

  • The Canadian Roller Hockey Group (CRHG) offer a league in Oakville at Maple Grove Arena through the Halton Roller Hockey League, which takes place from late April to late June. U6 to U14 take place on Sundays between 2pm & 9pm, while the High School division takes place on Wednesday evenings. Click on the CRHG link below to be redirected to their site for more information.
