Over the years, Mike and his whole FSH staff including Dom DeRenzis, Ryan DeRenzis and Tyler Stothers were instrumental in Ethan's hockey development both on and off the ice. Under the guidance of First Star Hockey, Ethan spent countless hours on the ice doing skills work, off the ice doing video and dryland, and for 5 years Mike was his head coach with the Oakville Rangers 2008 AAA team. The fact that Ethan loved going to the rink and training every day is a testament to The First Star program. Mike, Dom, Ryan and Tyler's dedication to teaching individual skills & hockey IQ and developing their players is in my mind unparalleled.
